As yet I had not published anything about the resurrection, I take this opportunity to do so now. Basically we are still in the Octave of Easter ...!
I propose a very old piece of a sermon, taken from the writings of the Fathers of the Church in greek.
"Jesus said," I am the resurrection and the life ;
who believes in me, though he die, shall live "
(John 11:25)
"know that I am the Lord when I open your graves and
I will out of your graves, my people.
I will put my spirit in you and you shall live "
(Ezekiel 37, 13-14th)
who believes in me, though he die, shall live "
(John 11:25)
"know that I am the Lord when I open your graves and
I will out of your graves, my people.
I will put my spirit in you and you shall live "
(Ezekiel 37, 13-14th)
" Awake, O sleeper ,
and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine
.
I am your God, for you have become your son [...]
now speak and my command with those who were in prison: Leave!
To those who were in darkness: Be enlightened!
To those who had died: Rise!
command to you: Awake, O sleeper!
fact I have not created because it held a prisoner in hell.
Rise from the dead. I am the life of the dead.
Rise, the work of my hands! Rise my effigy, made in my image! Rise up, get out of here! You in me and I in you we are one undivided person.
for you that I, your God, I got your son. For you, I the LORD have on your form of a servant. For you, I who am above the heavens, I have come to earth and below the ground "

that whoever sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life;
and I will raise him on the last day "
