some thoughts taken from an article written by Susanna Tamaro's Corriere della Sera some time ago, maybe you can not share everything 100%, but I think that contain several ideas to think about ...

"I belong the generation that fought in the years of early youth, the battle for sexual freedom and the legalization of abortion . [...]
Behind had the darkness, the dark days of repression, the woman object manipulated by the males and their desires, oppressed by the power of the Church, according to the slogan of the time, saw in her only a docile instrument of reproduction. It was the Seventies. [...] Personally, I've never been an activist, but they were my closest friends. [...]

data on the voluntary interruption of pregnancy we are told that the main categories that cater to hospitals are foreign women, adolescents and young . The reasons of the foreign women are unfortunately easy to understand, [...] But the Italian girls? These daughters, grandchildren and even feminists, why are these conditions? They are girls born in the 90's, girls raised in a permissive world, which certainly was no lack of information as possible. possible that they do not know how babies are born? Could not have noticed that condoms are available everywhere, even in vending machines night? Why accept unprotected sex? They realize they face the extraordinary wound or maybe they think that, after all, abortion is not only a means of contraception as another? If you are lucky, you all right, if you're unlucky, you get rid of them, never mind. It will not be more than a nuisance.
Has anyone told them what life is, respect for their body?
Has anyone ever told them that one can also say no, that happiness does not necessarily pass through all possible sexual relationships? [more ...] "
